Introducing Vitajoy’s Revamped Website, Document Center
What if we told you that we’ve just made your professional life easier as a Vitajoy Group USA customer, or even a potential customer? Well, that’s exactly what we’ve done—and here’s how.
Earlier this year, we relaunched our website with a new, modernized design and an architecture that makes it easier for you to find the information you need.
Now, we’ve introduced the Document Center—a tool which we consider to be one of the most important pieces of our relaunched website. Think of it as a library of information that gives you 24/7, fingertip-access to the kinds of materials you need to know as you consider which ingredients to purchase.
Registered users can download quality control documents and technical specifications for our products to help you make informed decisions and purchase the best products for your company’s needs.
For example, you can search ingredients to find certifications (e.g., organic, vegan/vegetarian, Kosher, Halal, gluten-free, etc.), regulatory status (e.g., GRAS status, non-GMO, etc.), SDS (Safety Data Sheets), specifications (e.g., appearance, identification, level of heavy metals and other potential contaminants, etc.), nutritional information, and more.
Our vice president of sales and marketing, Casey Crane, explains that the impetus for this new, website-based compilation of ingredient specific materials was developed from listening to our customers’ needs.
Crane says that “one of the most helpful things we can do for our customers is to make your job of qualifying an ingredient easier. While we still encourage the personal relationship between our customers and our dedicated sales reps, by posting to our site the documents you need to select, the right ingredients can be a welcome convenience and time-saver.”
Let’s face it: although our sales reps are quick to respond to your queries quickly, sometimes you’re searching for a simple answer and want or need it right away. Having the ability to self-search for commonly requested documents is something that can speed up the process.
Crane adds that “there can be up to about 20-25 quality documents that our customers may want to see and some of those documents require our getting more information from our sources.” However, there are about five or six commonly requested documents that we get asked about all the time, Crane advises, and these are the types of documents we’re posting.
Here are five things to know about accessing the documents round-the-clock:
- Bookmark (or memorize) our new URL: vitajoygroupusa.com.
If you use our old URL, you’ll be redirected to the new one; but best practices suggest that you update your contact info. - From the homepage you’ll need to click on “My Account,” found on the right side of the top ribbon. You’ll want to double check that you are registered by logging in.
- If you don’t yet have an account, simply register for one. (Be aware that all registrations must be verified and approved, which should take about 48 hours. If you need help sooner, contact us.
- Once you are logged in, you’ll have several paths which will take you to the documents you’re looking for. From the home page top ribbon, click on Products. From there, you can either search by typing in the name of the product you’re looking for or click through the visual representations or by category. Next step would be to click on the individual product and then More Information. (You could also start by clicking on Document Center, where you’ll be taken to a landing page with some general information and a link where you’ll follow a similar process.)
- Please note that lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (COAs) are only available after purchase; however, online spec sheets with general product information may be available as part of the materials now housed on the website for the ingredients you are considering.
Another new feature of our website is the Market Reports that alert you to industry (and VitaJoy) news that could impact your product availability, shipping time and pricing. It’s a quick read and these reports are generally updated monthly. You can access them from the News and Events category from the homepage.
We’d love to hear your feedback about the improved User Experience (UX) that we hope you’re finding. Here are the goals we hope you agree we’ve achieved with this website relaunch:
Easy Navigation
Our new website layout is clean and simple. This makes it easy to find what you need quickly. Whether you’re looking for specific products, quality control documents, or the latest news, everything is just a few clicks away.
Better Accessibility
We have made changes to help everyone, including people with disabilities, use our site easily. This includes better contrast, larger clickable areas, and compatibility with screen readers.
Mobile-Friendly
Our website is fully optimized for mobile devices. Whether you’re using a smartphone or a tablet, you’ll have a great experience just like on a desktop computer.
Faster Load Times
Our new website loads faster, so you can get the information and resources you need without waiting.
This revamped website follows the announcement earlier this year about the opening of our 270,000 square foot manufacturing and R&D facility in Suzhou, China. This state-of-the-art plant is part of our ongoing objectives to further cement our global footprint. Read more here.
